Kudos Plog Post

Sarah: Girl! You did so great! Rock on! I love the read-aloud you selected, it was fun and engaging. It could be connected to all sorts of lessons, and ideas. The lesson plan format seems very organized and precise. The end goal you stated is great and most certainly achievable!

Tiff: The slides turned out so cute! It drew me in! You know I love a good Canva slide! I like the idea of doing a persuasive paper. It can be such a wide range of plans and opportunities! I also love the fact that you spoke about student involvement and whole-class involvement. Additionally, while reading through your questions, I found myself really thinking, and I can only imagine your kids will be even more engaged. I think the book you chose is a great pick for the start of the school year.

Lynna: I think you won the cutest book! I love how it not only is just a cute story but also shows rhyming and literacy elements. I think having 2 activities is such a great way to keep the littles entertained for a longer time. The craft is an adorable idea and a great way to introduce other learning experiences aside from rhyming.

Sally: I love the inclusion of the letters. I think this is a vital lesson for all students to learn multiple times. I think you won the best activity/discussion topic. The shaved head thing was hilarious and would be so engaging for students. Not only that, but by doing those fun things, you are becoming a memorable teacher. Nice job, Sal!

Ashten: The book is so cute, and the Oreo method is for sure going in my playbook for the future. That little graphic you showed about the Oreo method is so great, and will be such a good resource! The standard you selected is perfect! Love it!

Anna: I love the nature inclusion, that is such an important topic to consider for children. I really like the graphic organizer that you made. I think when we as teachers care so much about creating content that allows students to organize their thoughts it shows our care. You had great objectives and ideas for your plan.

  1. Thank you so much for your feedback! Collaboration really helps me get to thinking and improves my work. My goal always is to ensure student success. This means that students need to be engaged and fully interacting throughout the lesson. I enjoy listening to everyone's lessons and how they would teach the standards they chose. Collaboration and communication with our peers is honestly, the only way to continue to find new and exciting ways to teach. I can't wait to hear everyone else's lessons throughout the coming weeks!
