Final Post

Everybody did an excellent job on our unit plans, and I enjoyed having a class with each of you this session! I feel like a lot of you are going to be great friends, I feel like our personalities shine through in our unit plans.

Sarah: I love how you provided so much literature to your students, and immersed them in a lot of the important aspects of English language arts. I loved how your lesson reached Beyond language arts, into emotional skills as well. this would be a great thing to implement in your classroom, as well as a very engaging lesson for sure. I think that this lesson is meaningful, and has multiple purposes. I think you're going to make an excellent teacher next year, especially if you continue to implement lessons like this.

Sally: I love it when a teacher incorporates persuasive writing into a lesson. the way that you included a game, makes it so much more fun and engaging for the student. I like how this is something that they can easily connect with, and gets them to engage in critical thinking skills. partner work is so much fun, especially when you're trying to do a persuasive peace! shaving your head is so much fun when used in this context lol! your kids are going to be full of laughter, and nothing sounds better to a teacher's ears than that. great job, you are such a rockstar and are going to be such an amazing educator.

Lynna: I seriously think you always pick out the absolute cutest books! I love how you integrated a center-type format, which is a great way for younger students to stay engaged. anytime they are doing something for an extended amount of time, they begin losing interest, so I like how you play off of what's best for your students. the variety and your lessons are always so refreshing, and I think that you did a great job making connections with your students. You are going to be a wonderful teacher,

Anna: Always love the creative elements that you incorporate into your lessons, and I think your unit plan displays your creativity and such a kind and compassionate way. I love how organized your slides were, and I think that you're going to be a great educator. I think that the English language arts elements that you included are so vital, and you did a great job integrating them.

Ashten: I love your Oreo analogy, what a fun way to get students involved! they love food! having a visual aid like that when they're learning about writing is so beneficial. I think it's a great way to make the lesson More memorable. I can tell that you are going to be a very passionate teacher and an excellent English teacher. I can't wait to try out this lesson, and maybe even bring Oreos!

Tiffany: Your slides were so cute! They turned out so cute! I think the book that you selected is so cute! Matches the themes of your lesson plans so well. I think this book is going straight into my library very soon!  I just knew that you were going to be an amazing teacher. I think you have a well-organized unit plan. I think your activities are very accessible and accurate! Good jobs!
